Sylvia Pearl was born on April 10th, 1901 in Kenney, Dewett, IL.1 Sylvia Pearl's father was Francis Marion Gandy and her mother was Ida May Works. Her paternal grandparents were Shepherd M Gandy and Isabel Barcus. She had six brothers and five sisters, named Albert H, Lewis P, Ralph H, Oscar Nelson, John W, Lawrence E, Ella P, Daisy Maude, Bertha A, Nettie F and Nellie Mae. She was the sixth oldest of the twelve children. She died at the age of 80 on July 15th, 1981 in Kenney, Dewett, IL.1 -
