Lawrence E was born on May 24th, 1917 in Kenney, Dewett, IL.1 Lawrence E's father was Francis Marion Gandy and his mother was Ida May Works. His paternal grandparents were Shepherd M Gandy and Isabel Barcus. He had five brothers and six sisters, named Albert H, Lewis P, Ralph H, Oscar Nelson, John W, Ella P, Sylvia Pearl, Daisy Maude, Bertha A, Nettie F and Nellie Mae. He was the youngest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 48 in 1965 in IL.1 -
