Henry Harris was born on February 24th, 1768 in , Cumberland, NJ.1 Henry Harris' father was Abijah Gandy and his mother was Mary Sheppard. His paternal grandparents were Aaron Gandy and Elizabeth Lore; his maternal grandparents were Philip Sheppard and Mary Unknown. He had two brothers and a sister, named Abijah, Shepherd and Deborah. He was the oldest of the four children. He died at the age of 81 on March 27th, 1849 in Pharisburg, Union, OH. He was buried in 1849 in Brannon Cemetery, Leesburg, OH.1 1 -
