Francis Marion was born on July 17th, 1866 in Kenney, Dewett, IL.1 Francis Marion's father was Shepherd M Gandy and his mother was Isabel Barcus. His paternal grandparents were Henry Harris Gandy and Sally Harris. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Samuel Henry, James, Will, Aurilla, Ellen and Alice. He had two half-brothers and four half-sisters, named John Elliott, Jacob, Mary Melinda, Betsy J, Lucinda and Naomi. He died at the age of 63 on March 4th, 1930 in Clinton, DeWitt, IL.1 -
