Her paternal grandparents were Shepherd M Gandy and Isabel Barcus. She had six brothers and five sisters, named Albert H, Lewis P, Ralph H, Oscar Nelson, John W, Lawrence E, Ella P, Sylvia Pearl, Daisy Maude, Nettie F and Nellie Mae. She was the fifth youngest of the twelve children. She died at the age of 70 on May 12th, 1977 in Kenney, Dewett, IL.1 -
