Matilda Gandy 
Matilda was born on December 15th, 1801 in , Cumberland, NJ.1 Matilda's father was Henry Harris Gandy and her mother was Tamson Garrison. Her paternal grandparents were Abijah Gandy and Mary Sheppard. She had two brothers and five sisters, named Abijah, George Washington, Mary, Phebe, Ruth Sheppard, Tamson and Polly Shepherd. She had three half-brothers and five half-sisters, named Henry H, Shepherd M, John S, Margaret, Hannah, Rachel, Sarah Ann and Elizabeth Sheppard. She died at the age of 51 on July 21st, 1853 in Pharisburg, Union, OH. She was buried in 1853 in Brannon Cemetery, Leesburg, OH.1 1 -
