Henry I of England 
Henry I was born in Selby, Yorkshire, England.1 Henry I's father was William the Conqueror and his mother was Matilda of Flanders. His paternal grandparents were Robert I and Herleva de Falaise; his maternal grandparents were Baldwin V de Lille and Adela de France. He had a sister named Adela. He died in Angers, Maine-et-Loire, France. He was buried in Reading Abbey.2 1 General Notes

Henry I "Beauclerc" King of England
Shepard records 21-22 bastard children of Henry I. A list of 20- 21 (there may be one duplication) appeared in the Complete Peera ge, new ed., vol. 11, Appendix D, with biographical material. Sh epard adds a 21st or 22nd. It has been asserted that Henry marri ed Sibyl Corbet, and later set her aside to marry Margaret of Sc otland, thus uniting the Saxon and Norman claims to the throne . Evidence to prove this statement is lacking, but if it is true , the five children of Sibyl Corbet would not be true bastards.
Henry I died after eating a vast amount of lampreys at a banquet .
