William I "Longsword"

William I was born about 0891.¹   William I's father was Rollo of Normandy and his mother was Poppa de Valois.  His paternal grandparents were Ragnvald I Eysteinsson and Ragnhild Hrolfsdottir; his maternal grandfather was Berenger de Senlis. He had a sister named Gerloc.  He was the older of the two children.¹
