Wiley was born in 1827 in In or Nr Chapin, SC.1 Wiley's father was John Ventle Shealy and his mother was Eva Margaret Sease. His maternal grandparents were John Mark Suss\Seas\Sease and Nancy Shirer. He had seven brothers and a sister, named Levi, Henry, Daniel, Solomon, Mark Walter, Joshua, Amos O. and Susanna. He died at the age of 29 on June 18th, 1856. He was buried in June 1856 in Beth Eden Lutheran Cemetery, Newberry County, SC.1 1 -
