Daniel was born on July 6th, 1824 in In or Nr Chapin, SC.1 Daniel's father was John Ventle Shealy and his mother was Eva Margaret Sease. His maternal grandparents were John Mark Suss\Seas\Sease and Nancy Shirer. He had seven brothers and a sister, named Levi, Henry, Solomon, Wiley, Mark Walter, Joshua, Amos O. and Susanna. He died at the age of 85 on September 14th, 1909 in Pine Ridge Area, Newberry County, South Carolina. He was buried in Macedonia Lutheran Cemetery, Prosperity, SC.1 1 -
