Susanna was born in 1817 in In or Nr Chapin, SC.1 Susanna's father was John Ventle Shealy and her mother was Eva Margaret Sease. Her maternal grandparents were John Mark Suss\Seas\Sease and Nancy Shirer. She had eight brothers named Levi, Henry, Daniel, Solomon, Wiley, Mark Walter, Joshua and Amos O.. She died at the age of 57 on March 19th, 1874 in In or Nr Chapin, SC. She was buried in J.V. Shealy Cem, now under Lake Murray.1 1 -
