Solomon was born on July 6th, 1824 in In or Nr Chapin, SC.1 Solomon's father was John Ventle Shealy and his mother was Eva Margaret Sease. His maternal grandparents were John Mark Suss\Seas\Sease and Nancy Shirer. He had seven brothers and a sister, named Levi, Henry, Daniel, Wiley, Mark Walter, Joshua, Amos O. and Susanna. He died at the age of 42 in 1866 in Camping Creek Area, Newberry County, SC. He was buried in 1866 in Daniel Shealy Family Cemetery, SC.1 1 -
