John Calvin Metze 
John Calvin was born on January 24th, 1914 in Little Mountain, South Carolina.1 John Calvin's father was John Quincy Metze and his mother was Bessie Agnes Lindler. His maternal grandparents were James Westley Lindler and Jane C. Boland. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Harold Eugene, Elliott Ray, Elliott Ray, James Elbert, Clara Elberta, Mattie Enoree and Ola Mae. He was the fourth youngest of the eight children. He had two half-sisters named Lori Genivia and Olive.1 -
