James Elbert Metze 
James Elbert was born on March 8th, 1921.1 James Elbert's father was John Quincy Metze and his mother was Bessie Agnes Lindler. His maternal grandparents were James Westley Lindler and Jane C. Boland. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Harold Eugene, John Calvin, Elliott Ray, Elliott Ray, Clara Elberta, Mattie Enoree and Ola Mae. He was the youngest of the eight children. He had two half-sisters named Lori Genivia and Olive.-
