John Adam Fulmer 
John Adam was born on September 29th, 1847 in "The Dutch Fork", South Carolina.1 John Adam's father was John Adam Fulmer and his mother was Margaret Eve Summer. His maternal grandparents were William Summer and Catherine Elizabeth Fulmer. He had three brothers and eight sisters, named William Franklin, George M., James Willis, Eugenia Frances, Missouri Cummings, Nancy Ella, Alice L. (Sallie), Emma Cothern, Mattie Marcilla, Mary Elizabeth and Mary Ann (Polly). He was the fifth oldest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 17 on April 4th, 1865 in Point Lookout, Maryland. He was buried in Point Lookout, Maryland.1 1 General Notes
