Emma Cothern Fulmer 
Emma Cothern was born on May 3rd, 1861 in Peak, Newberry County, South Carolina.1 Emma Cothern's father was John Adam Fulmer and her mother was Margaret Eve Summer. Her maternal grandparents were William Summer and Catherine Elizabeth Fulmer. She had four brothers and seven sisters, named William Franklin, John Adam, George M., James Willis, Eugenia Frances, Missouri Cummings, Nancy Ella, Alice L. (Sallie), Mattie Marcilla, Mary Elizabeth and Mary Ann (Polly). She was the second youngest of the twelve children. She died at the age of 85 on March 1st, 1947. She was buried in Capers Chapel Methodist Cemetery, Peak, SC.1 1 -
