William Summer 
William was born in 1787 in Newberry District, SC.1 William's father was William Summer and his mother was Eva Margaretha Sease\Suss. His paternal grandparents were John (Hans) Adam Summer and Anna Maria Margaret Josten; his maternal grandparents were Christopher Suss and Susannah Anhaus. He had a brother and four sisters, named Henry (Henry Jr.), Mary Magdeline, Anna, Susannah M. (Susan) and Mary Margaret. He was the third oldest of the six children. He had a half-brother named John Adam. He died at the age of 31 on September 28th, 1818 in Buried Summer Graveyard, Little Mountain, SC.
