William FitzRobert Earl of Chester 
William FitzRobert was born on November 23rd, 1116 in of Gloucestershire, England.1 William FitzRobert's father was Robert de Caen "the Consul" Earl of Gloucester and his mother was Amabel FitzHamon. His paternal grandfather was Henry I Beauclerc King of England; his maternal grandparents were Robert FitzHamon Earl of Gloucester and Sibyl de Montgomerie. He had two sisters named Maud and Christiana. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named William and Maud. He died at the age of 67 on November 23rd, 1183.1 General Notes
