Naomie Ruth was born about 1920 in Near Chapin, South Carolina.1 Naomie Ruth's father was Clifton C. Boland and her mother was Bertha Agnes Comalander. Her paternal grandparents were John Adam Boland and Sarah Elizabeth Unknown; her maternal grandparents were John Henry Comalander and Laura Anne Marilla (Susannah) Shealy. She had two brothers and four sisters, named Elton Blease, Arthur Clyde, Laura Elizabeth, Mamie Ruth, Vera Ellen and Audrey Loriaine. She was the fourth oldest of the seven children. She died about 1920 in Near Chapin, South Carolina.1 -
