Essie Ellen Boland 
Essie Ellen was born on May 20th, 1879 in Little Mountain, South Carolina.1 Essie Ellen's father was Abraham Noah Boland and her mother was Martha A. Miller. Her paternal grandparents were Middleton Boland and Anna Barbara Frick. She had four brothers and eight sisters, named David Walter, Ernest, Herbert Antine, Henry Cecil, Nettie Alice, Lula Beatress, Leila Mae, Blanche, Anna Elizabeth, Winnie Maude, Gertrude Miller and Ninaleigh. She was the fourth oldest of the thirteen children. She died at the age of 92 on November 9th, 1971. She was buried in Holy Trinity Church Cemetery, Little Mountain, SC.1 1 -
