Isaac Newton was born in 1838 in Goochland Co., VA. Isaac Newton's father was John Thurston and his mother was Louisa F. Poor. His paternal grandparents were John Thurston and Jane Page; his maternal grandparents were Edward H. Poor and Martha A. Carden. He had four brothers and five sisters, named William H., Edward W., John Dow, Thomas I., Virginia, Elizabeth, Louisa A., Margaret J. and Victoria. He was the fifth oldest of the ten children. He died after 1887 in Goochland Co., VA.-
