Sarah Stanley 
Sarah was born in Hanover Co., Virginia.1 Sarah's father was Thomas Stanley and her mother was Elizabeth Crew. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Stanley and Rebecca ?; her maternal grandparents were John Crew and Sarah Gately. She had six brothers and two sisters, named Pleasant, Zachariah, Joseph, John, Nathan, Thomas, Mary and Anne. She had a half-brother and two half-sisters, named Maddox, Elizabeth and Margery. She died in 1789 in North Carolina.-
