Samuel Stanley 
Samuel was born on January 7th, 1793. Samuel's father was Michael Stanley and his mother was Mary Gurley. His paternal grandparents were Strangeman Stanley and Jemima Mills; his maternal grandparents were John Gurley and Lydia ?. He had eight brothers and four sisters, named Jonathan, John, Moses, Aaron, Nathan, Ira, Josiah, Gurley, Elizabeth, Abigail, Rebecca and Hannah. He was the second oldest of the thirteen children. He died at the age of 62 in 1855.-
