Ira Stanley 
Ira was born on December 1st, 1808. Ira's father was Michael Stanley and his mother was Mary Gurley. His paternal grandparents were Strangeman Stanley and Jemima Mills; his maternal grandparents were John Gurley and Lydia ?. He had eight brothers and four sisters, named Samuel, Jonathan, John, Moses, Aaron, Nathan, Josiah, Gurley, Elizabeth, Abigail, Rebecca and Hannah. He was the fourth youngest of the thirteen children. He died at the age of 29 in 1837.-
