Josiah Stanley 
Josiah was born on July 3rd, 1810. Josiah's father was Michael Stanley and his mother was Mary Gurley. His paternal grandparents were Strangeman Stanley and Jemima Mills; his maternal grandparents were John Gurley and Lydia ?. He had eight brothers and four sisters, named Samuel, Jonathan, John, Moses, Aaron, Nathan, Ira, Gurley, Elizabeth, Abigail, Rebecca and Hannah. He was the third youngest of the thirteen children.-
