William Eldridge Seay 
William Eldridge was born on May 11th, 1810 in Amelia Co., Virginia. William Eldridge's father was Austin Seay and his mother was Sally Marshall Booker. His paternal grandparents were Moses Seay and Elizabeth Luck; his maternal grandparents were Efford Booker and Mary Hudson. He had six brothers and two sisters, named Richard Terrell, Efford Booker, George Nichola, Samuel Richard, Austin Selden, Junius Hardin, Louisa Marshall and Sally Amelia Virginia. He was the fifth oldest of the nine children. He had four half-sisters named Juliana Harper, Augusta Tazwell, Evelin Elizabeth and Elvira Cornelia.General Notes
