George was born in 1697 in Abington Parish, Gloucester Co., VA. George's father was Richard Booker and his mother was Hannah Hand. His paternal grandparents were Edward Booker and Sarah Glover; his maternal grandparents were Richard Hand and Frances Purifoy. He had a sister named Frances. He had five half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Edward, Richard, Richard, John, Edmund, Ann, Rebecca and Judith. He died at the age of 63 in 1760 in Gloucester Co., VA.-
