Joseph Pleasants 
Joseph was born about 1745 in VA. Joseph's father was John Cocke Pleasants and his mother was Susanna Woodson. His paternal grandparents were Joseph Pleasants and Sarah Goode; his maternal grandparents were Tarleton Woodson and Ursula Fleming. He had five brothers and two sisters, named Matthew, Archibald, James, Tarleton, John, Ursula and Susannah. He was the fourth youngest of the eight children. He died in 1785.-
