Archibald Pleasants 
Archibald was born about 1743. Archibald's father was John Cocke Pleasants and his mother was Susanna Woodson. His paternal grandparents were Joseph Pleasants and Sarah Goode; his maternal grandparents were Tarleton Woodson and Ursula Fleming. He had five brothers and two sisters, named Matthew, Joseph, James, Tarleton, John, Ursula and Susannah. He was the fourth oldest of the eight children.-
