Tarleton Woodson 
Tarleton was born about 1681 in "Curles", Henrico Co., VA. Tarleton's father was John Woodson and his mother was Judith Tarleton. His paternal grandparents were Robert Woodson and Elizabeth Ferris; his maternal grandparents were Stephen Tarleton and Susannah Bates. He had five brothers and two sisters, named John, Robert, Jacob, Josiah, Stephen, Judith and Elizabeth. He was the oldest of the eight children.General Notes
