Josiah Woodson 
Josiah was born about 1702 in Henrico Co., VA. Josiah's father was John Woodson and his mother was Judith Tarleton. His paternal grandparents were Robert Woodson and Elizabeth Ferris; his maternal grandparents were Stephen Tarleton and Susannah Bates. He had five brothers and two sisters, named Tarleton, John, Robert, Jacob, Stephen, Judith and Elizabeth. He was the fourth youngest of the eight children. He died in 1736 in Goochland Co., VA.General Notes
