John Woodson 
John was born about 1695.1 John's father was John Woodson and his mother was Judith Tarleton. His paternal grandparents were Robert Woodson and Elizabeth Ferris; his maternal grandparents were Stephen Tarleton and Susannah Bates. He had five brothers and two sisters, named Tarleton, Robert, Jacob, Josiah, Stephen, Judith and Elizabeth. He was the second oldest of the eight children. He died on May 21st, 1754.-
