William Edward Payne 
William Edward was born on July 5th, 1880. William Edward's father was William James Payne and his mother was Cornelia Ann Flannagan. His paternal grandparents were William Payne and Maria Calais Allegre; his maternal grandparents were James Johnson Flannagan and Virginia Crank. He had five brothers and two sisters, named Thomas Lloyd, James Marvin, Walter Bernard, Roy Flanagan, Richard Marion, Laura F. and Vara Crank. He was the fourth oldest of the eight children. He had three half-brothers and a half-sister, named Sarah Maria, Frank Watson, Willie Walter and Mary Ella. He died at the age of 89 on June 28th, 1970.-
