Mary Brockenbrough Payne 
Mary Brockenbrough was born on July 15th, 1809 in Virginia. Mary Brockenbrough's father was Richard Beckwith Payne and her mother was Judith Anderson. Her paternal grandparents were Robert Burton Payne and Margaret Sydenham Morton; her maternal grandparents were George Dabney Anderson and Susannah Mims. She had four brothers and four sisters, named Robert Burton, George Anderson, Fleming S., William Jordan, Norella Burton, Margaret Sydenham, Susan Mims and Eliza B.. She was the third youngest of the nine children. She died at the age of 74 on September 3rd, 1883 in Virginia.-
