Louisa Woodson was born on October 11th, 1807.1 Louisa Woodson's father was Phillip Payne and her mother was Elizabeth Dandridge. Her paternal grandparents were John Payne and Jane Smith; her maternal grandparents were Nathaniel West Dandridge and Dorothea Spotswood. She had four brothers and nine sisters, named John Smith, Nathaniel West, Philip M., Baldwin Matthews, Jane S., Elizabeth Spotswood, Mary Claiborne, Ann T., Evalina Washington, Camilla West, Elvira Henry, Clarissa Elliott and Elizabeth Dandridge.-
