Fleming H. Payne

Fleming H. was born in 1850. Fleming H.'s father was William Jordan Payne and his mother was Sarah Elizabeth Herring. His paternal grandparents were Richard Beckwith Payne and Judith Anderson; his maternal grandparents were Benjamin Herring and Nancy Hill. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Luther Rice, Tucker W., George Anderson, Thomas Gilman, Alberta Jordan, Nancy B., Sarah Judson, Maria A. and Hattie E.. He was the third youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 15 on June 27th, 1865 in of "brain fever".
