Robert Meredith 
Robert was born on May 30th, 1789. Robert's father was Elisha Meredith and his mother was Anne Layne Clopton. His paternal grandparents were Elisha Meredith and Elizabeth Pleasants Cocke. He had six brothers and two sisters, named John, William, Elisha, Reuben, Samuel, Thomas, Elizabeth Cocke and Sarah Ann. He was the fourth youngest of the nine children.-
