Elisha Meredith 
Elisha was born on October 2nd, 1787. Elisha's father was Elisha Meredith and his mother was Anne Layne Clopton. His paternal grandparents were Elisha Meredith and Elizabeth Pleasants Cocke. He had six brothers and two sisters, named John, William, Robert, Reuben, Samuel, Thomas, Elizabeth Cocke and Sarah Ann. He was the fifth oldest of the nine children.-
