John Marshall 
John was born on June 9th, 1825. John's father was Jaquelin Ambler Marshall and his mother was Eliza Letitia Steptoe Clarkson. His paternal grandparents were John Marshall and Mary Willis Ambler; his maternal grandparents were William Clarkson and Mildred Pickett. He had three brothers and five sisters, named William Clarkson, Jaquelin Ambler, William C., Mary Ambler, Mildred Pickett, Eliza, Anna Maria and Ellen Harvie. He was the fourth oldest of the nine children.-
