Harriet J. House Hawkins 
Harriet J. House was born on October 12th, 1828 in Madison Co., Virginia. Harriet J. House's father was Augustine Hawkins and her mother was Matilda Wilhoit Finks. She had five brothers and four sisters, named Andrew Jackson, Alpheus Finks, Augustine, Abraham, Paschal Walker, Matilda Ann, Nancy Eve, Sarah Elizabeth and Damaris. She was the second oldest of the ten children. She died at the age of 72 on January 12th, 1901 in Wabash Township, Adams Co., Indiana.
