Annie Laura was born in April 1890 in VA.1 Annie Laura's father was George Washington Davis and her mother was Rosa Bell Camp. Her paternal grandparents were George Dixon Davis and Mary Ann Wills; her maternal grandparents were William Camp and Ann H. Winston. She had seven brothers and a sister, named George H., Jenifer Paul, Wilbur Ellet, Jesse Hatcher, Percy H., Frank L., Eldridge B. and Cora E.. She was the second youngest of the nine children. She died at the age of 75 on May 4th, 1965 in Richmond, Virginia. She was buried on May 6th, 1965 in Riverview Cemetery, Richmond, VA.2 1 General Notes
Went by "Laura". Never married. Lived w/ siblings Hatcher & Percy. Had a pet parrot that spoke in 'her voice' in a cage next to the front door; when the doorbell rang, the bird would say 'Just a minute!', keeping callers at the door thinking someone was home.
