James Meriwether 
James was born on June 2nd, 1729 in Louisa Co., Virginia. James' father was David Meriwether and his mother was Anne Holmes. His paternal grandparents were Nicholas Meriwether and Elizabeth Crawford; his maternal grandparents were George Holmes and Anne Reade. He had four brothers named Francis, Nicholas, William and Thomas. He died at the age of 63 in 1792.-
