Robert Willis Carter 
Robert Willis was born in 1793. Robert Willis' father was Edward Hill Carter and his mother was Mary Randolph Lewis. His paternal grandparents were Edward Carter and Sarah Champe; his maternal grandparents were Charles Lewis and Mary Lewis. He had two brothers named Charles Warner Lewis and Edward Champe. He had six half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Peter J., John Champe, Stanley, William, Champe Junius, Johnson, Caroline, Julia Ann, Laura B. and Mary. He died at the age of 46 in 1839.-
