Robert Hill Carter 
Robert Hill was born in 1778. Robert Hill's father was Edward Carter and his mother was Sarah Champe. His paternal grandparents were John Carter and Elizabeth Hill; his maternal grandparents were John Champe and Jane Thornton. He had six brothers and five sisters, named Charles, John Champe, Edward Hill, Whitaker, William Champe, George, Jane, Mary Champe, Nancy, Sarah and Elizabeth. He died at the age of 31 in 1809.-
