Peter Carter 
Peter was born on May 23rd, 1688 in "Barford", Lancaster Co., VA. Peter's father was Thomas Carter and his mother was Katherine Dale. His paternal grandparents were William Carter and Jane Myles; his maternal grandparents were Edward Dale and Diana Skipwith. He had nine brothers and three sisters, named Edward, Thomas, John, Henry Skipwith, Nicholas, William, Daniel, James, Joseph, Diana, Katherine and Elizabeth. He died at the age of 33 in 1721 in St. Mary's White Chapel, Lancaster Co., VA.-
