Henry Skipwith was born on June 7th, 1676. Henry Skipwith's father was Thomas Carter and his mother was Katherine Dale. His paternal grandparents were William Carter and Jane Myles; his maternal grandparents were Edward Dale and Diana Skipwith. He had nine brothers and three sisters, named Edward, Thomas, John, Nicholas, William, Daniel, James, Peter, Joseph, Diana, Katherine and Elizabeth.-
