Maria Carter 
Maria was born in 1746. Maria's father was Charles Carter and her mother was Anne Byrd. Her paternal grandparents were Robert Carter and Elizabeth Landon; her maternal grandparents were William Byrd and Maria Taylor. She had two brothers and five sisters, named Landon, John Hill, Anne Byrd, Caroliana, Jane Byrd, Sarah and Lucy. She had a half-brother and four half-sisters, named Charles, Mary Walker, Judith, Elizabeth and Ann Walker.-
