Landon Carter 
Landon was born in 1751. Landon's father was Charles Carter and his mother was Anne Byrd. His paternal grandparents were Robert Carter and Elizabeth Landon; his maternal grandparents were William Byrd and Maria Taylor. He had a brother and six sisters, named John Hill, Anne Byrd, Maria, Caroliana, Jane Byrd, Sarah and Lucy. He had a half-brother and four half-sisters, named Charles, Mary Walker, Judith, Elizabeth and Ann Walker. He died at the age of 60 in 1811.-
