Ann Walker was born in 1763. Ann Walker's father was Charles Carter and her mother was Lucy Taliaferro. Her paternal grandparents were Robert Carter and Elizabeth Landon. She had three half-brothers and nine half-sisters, named Charles, Landon, John Hill, Mary Walker, Judith, Elizabeth, Anne Byrd, Maria, Caroliana, Jane Byrd, Sarah and Lucy.-
