Charles Edward Carter 
Charles Edward was born on September 10th, 1846. Charles Edward's father was John Coles Carter and his mother was Margaret Rachel Higginbotham. His paternal grandparents were Robert Hill Carter and Mary Eliza Coles. He had a brother and four sisters, named Blenheim, Rebecca Isaette, Ellen Bankhead, Shirley and Sarah Coles Stevenson. He was the second oldest of the six children. He had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named Robert Hill, John Coles and Ann Cary. He died at the age of 54 in 1900.-
